4 Tons
The ACiQ R5A5S48AKAWA air conditioner condenser has an output of 4 tons, generally enough to cool a medium to large house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. If you have any questions, please contact us.
13.8 SEER2
The ACiQ R5A5S48AKAWA air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.8 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than standard 13.4 SEER2 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit.
Warranty
ACiQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.
Durability
The cabinet of ACiQ units are extremely durable. On the R5A5S48AKAWA, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.
Disclaimer: This condenser contains R454B refrigerant, which is classified as an A2L refrigerant. To comply with safety standards, this unit must be paired with an R454B air handler or evaporator coil equipped with a leakage detection system. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in safety hazards and could void the warranty.
All ACiQ condensers come pre-charged with enough refrigerant for a 15-foot line set, making installation faster and more convenient. This pre-charged design saves installers time and reduces labor costs by eliminating the need for manual refrigerant charging. It also helps ensure the system starts with the correct amount of refrigerant, minimizing the risk of improper charging that could impact performance and efficiency. If a longer line set is required, your installer will need to add additional refrigerant to maintain optimal operation.

66,000 BTU, 80% AFUE
The ACiQ N80MSN0702116A has an input of 66,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 80%, this means that the furnace has an output of 52,800 BTU. The 80% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 80% of it is used to heat your home while the remaining 20% is lost out the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All 80% furnaces require metal flue venting, and if you need it to be plastic/PVC venting a furnace with an efficiency of 90% or above is required. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Low NOx or Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.
Warranty
ACiQ offers 10 year parts and 20 year heat exchanger limited warranties. Please note that in order for the heat exchanger and parts warranties to be upheld, the unit must be registered through the manufacturer within 90 days of installation. The installation must also follow your state and local codes.
